When you have a bride that asks for custom piece for her wedding day, and gives you full reign on design – beautiful things happen…
When the bride is one of your very good friends – the outcome is even sweeter.
If you are from Vancouver Island, you may recognize this super stylish couple as the fun and hilarious duo behind Four Frames Photo Booth. Lindsay & Derek have been involved in hundreds (if not thousands) of weddings and events all over our island, so to be a part of their incredible day was such an honour.
Lindsay had requested a floral fascinator to complement and add a pop of colour to her long sleeved, A-line, plunging backless – incredibly chic – black dress. Ooooh how I love a bride who stays true to her unique style!
Using Silk Peonies, Clematis & Hydrangeas for the focal florals, I created the base of her fascinator in a rich black velvet and finished this stunning piece off with a couple statement feathers and antique golden veiling. The colours used were incredible on this fall day, and tied in perfectly with her rugged fall toned fresh floral bouquet (Read more about the flowers on the FLEUR Blog – HERE).
This is perhaps the sweetest little fairy, in a custom LMCM silk floral halo to match her Aunty…
There is just so much love and fabulous style between these two!!
